Links
Since everyone knows how to use google, there is no real need for links lists. This page holds links to websites, which I host, designed, developed etc.- http://www.njbg.nl Have you ever dreamed about excavating for objects of the past? Or would you like to live like people did 2000 years ago? Maybe you like castles or maybe you want to know more about the history of your own town. The Dutch Youth Association for History (NJBG) makes this all possible. From 1958 members of the NJBG have been organizing their own excursions, writing interesting articles in their periodical magazine "Fibula" and have been providing help at excavations in The Netherlands and in other European countries. The members are all aged 9 to 26 and live around The Netherlands.
- http://www.opgraven.nl This site is a spin-off of the previous one and educates (in dutch) people about archeology.
- http://vorm.net/recept Here you find some recipes (in Dutch), written by me and my roommates.
- http://vorm.net/lijst A small link for myself :-). It does the finances of my student house.
- http://vorm.net/dnd This site is also not available for the public, but I mention this site, because it is my first serious PHP program and the reason I setup this server. It provides a forum for my DND group.
Friends (random order)
Although these people can be really nice, the main reason to link each other is for page ranking. Therefore I will bluntly provide the links, without the story. It is much nicer to meet in the non-virtual world anyway.
More to come, you can also mail me.

Turn the page
I am back from my holiday trip to Tanzania; pictures will later be present at this location. In the peaceful presence of mother Anna, I also became 28 winters (or is it summers?, damn southern hemisphere) young.

Art history
In 2000 and 2001 I studied art history in Leiden.
Hopefully I will some day finish this study. Following courses was much nicer
than my first study (applied physics).I produced a lot of publications for
this study, but unfortunately I lost these... However, visiting expositions and
musea is still a hobby. Questions about these period can still be asked to me.
To be continued...

So far away
First of all, I updated the site. The layout is fixed once again
(don't ask for the reasons, they can fill the whole page). More important
is that the backend is rewritten. Because I host a lot of pages for various
organizations, groups and people
I needed a better, more dynamic framework. Also I will start to use rss aggregrators, so
the sonicbliss people can share a bit more.
Things are not all done yet. When I have time again I will change the various photo galleries I run and consolidate them. Then I can make some photo's public (nothing embarrassing of course ;-). Also the user framework will change, allowing one single login system ('to rule them all').
On a personal level: I will leave for a holiday real soon, so hopefully everything will continue to run smooth.

The lion sleeps tonight
Not too much updates lately. I didn't write too much c++, due to my purchase
of the lovely iriver (see the picture on the left). Works under linux like a
charm and plays all of my formats
perfectly.
On the site front, there is some news. I am working on a rewrite and redesign, away from content management and in plain html. I am nowadays convinced that versioning (subversion in my case) and some small scripts (and the use of vim) will make the site much easier too handle.
Last but not least I am experimenting a bit with RSS, so all sonicbliss people can share a bit more. But I will be surprised if all this is ready before my holiday to Tanzania.
